Terms
Terms of use
A short set of terms for a site that sells nothing. The two that actually matter are whose views these are, and how far the AI features can be trusted.

Whose views these are
This is a personal site, written and published by me in a personal capacity. Everything here is my own view. Employers, past and present, are named in the career record because naming them is what makes that record checkable — but nothing on this site is written on their behalf, endorsed by them, or a statement of their position on anything.
Nothing on this site discloses confidential information belonging to any employer or client. Where a piece of work involved material that could not be published, only the approach and architecture are described — never the contents.
What the content is for
The write-ups, systems explainers and notes are an account of work I have done and how I reasoned about it. They are published for information. They are not professional advice — not legal, financial, tax, technical or commercial — and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice that takes your own circumstances into account.
I try hard to make claims match reality, and to correct them when they stop doing so. If you find something on this site that is wrong, please tell me and I will fix it.
The AI features
The “Ask about Myles” assistant and the job-description fit tool on the CV page generate their answers with a large language model. They are grounded in a curated set of public material about me and are instructed to refuse questions that material does not answer — but they are generative systems and can still be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken.
Treat what they say as a starting point, not a warranty. Where an answer matters — a date, a title, a claim about what I have done — the underlying pages, the CV and the write-ups are the record, and they win over anything the assistant says.
Please do not paste confidential material into either tool. What happens to the text you type is set out on the privacy page.
Both tools are rate-limited. If you hit a limit, that is the limit doing its job rather than a fault.
Content and reuse
The words, diagrams and images on this site are mine unless stated otherwise. You are very welcome to quote or reference them with attribution and a link. Republishing whole pieces, or using them to train a model, is not something I have agreed to — ask me first.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. I make no promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and I may change, move or remove anything on it at any time. The AI features in particular are experimental and may be switched off.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything published here, including anything generated by the AI features. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
Links out
Where this site links to somewhere else, that place is not under my control and these terms do not apply to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
